We are a small law firm that packs a powerful punch! We chose our staff carefully, as we believe in quality and not quantity. We understand the needs of our Landlords and our expertise will pave the way for results.

Experience
At VMA, collectively our attorneys have over 15 years experience in litigation and dispute resolution services. Our Director, Verton Moodley has over 10 years experience in the commercial property industry. He has gained an advantage over his peers has he was employed with Eris Property Group where he was a senior legal manager overseeing litigious matters and negotiating commercial leases. Having worked in both in practice and the corporate environment, he has obtained insightful understanding between Landlords and Tenants.
Commercial Property
We have acted for Landlords in both the commercial and residential spheres, having attending to resolving disputes between Landlords and Tenants in the Rental Housing Tribunal, Magistrates Courts, High Courts and the Supreme Court of Appeal.
We have a sound understanding of the commercial property industry and all stakeholders thereto.
Appropriate Forums
Our experience has showed us that working in the High Court is preferred as Judges are more consistent in granting our orders and the time frame to obtain orders are quicker than our local Magistrates Courts. However, depending on the circumstances of each case, and upon consultation with the Landlord, the appropriate forum will always be chosen to best suit the Landlord.
Lastly, we are fully au fait with the inner workings of the urgent court to obtain urgent evictions and urgent relief for our Landlords.
Legal Advice
We believe that our matters cannot be treated as any other file as time is of the essence. As such, we render sound legal advice to Landlords to find the best solutions at the most effective rates. As each case is different to the next, we believe that having a round table meeting can yield positive results for our Landlords and conversely, where it is needed, we are strong enough to litigate any matter from inception to end.
We offer sound guidance to our Landlords at each and every stage of the legal process. We believe in good communication between our office and our clients which allows for faster results.
NETWORK OF CORRESPONDENTS
Our relationship with our correspondents are strict, and we instruct our correspondents that they do not charge for receipt and perusal of our documents, nor do they to any unnecessary attendances, unless instructed to do so.
