Verton Moodley

Director

Verton obtained his BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and was admitted as an attorney in 2013. He commenced his legal career with a prominent insurance litigation firm specializing in commercial law, long and short-term insurance law and administrative law.

Having been involved in complex High Court litigation and arbitrations, Verton then ventured into the corporate world and joined Eris Property Group. While at Eris, Verton’s core duties included overseeing litigation matters for the group, acquisitions and disposals, drafting facility agreements and management agreements.

Verton went on to join Alan Levy Attorneys in August 2017, where he spearheaded the commercial and litigation departments. He eventually became a director in the firm in November 2017. During his time at Alan Levy Attorneys, Verton acted for a variety of property funds and private landlords, where he assisted and delivered expert property advice. Verton has acted for a variety of clients in the High Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal and in arbitration proceedings.

The logical next step for Verton was to venture out and start his own firm. The experience Verton has gathered and the various titles he has held over the years, has equipped him with the skills necessary to give clients favourable solutions to their legal battles. Verton values two simple qualities which are personified in his professional career – honesty and integrity.
